Developmental Screenings for Young Children

Regular developmental screening in the early years makes sure that children are on track, and helps identify areas where additional support may be needed.

Families with children between the ages of 2 months and 5 years of age residing in Oakland County can complete a FREE Ages and Stages (ASQ-3) developmental screening. It only takes 10 minutes to complete and a developmental screening specialist will follow up with an individualized email to offer support and resources.

There are five areas of development that are examined with our Ages and Stages screening: fine motor, gross motor, communication and problem solving. Click here to read about each area!

Ages and Stages Questionnaires allow parents to check the development of their child. By completing the questionnaires, parents can check their child's progress and learn more about what to expect their child to be able to do at each stage of development.

Early diagnosis and treatment of developmental delays can help give a child the best opportunity to reach his/her full potential.
